Tree planting!

Thank you to our Eco Team who planted 15 saplings in the garden area at Cottages. Great job!

 

The RSPB Big School Bird Watch

Our Eco Team have been hard at work recently.
They enthusiastically took part in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch at Cottages, spotting a variety of birds. They are working on ways we can encourage more birds in to our school grounds.

 

Home for Wildlife Competition winners!

A few months ago Bella won the Home for Wildlife competition which was run by Councillor Mike Adams at Nottinghamshire County Council. Bella's incredible bug hotel and bird house design was brought to life by students at West Notts College and it has been delivered to us and placed in the garden area at Cottages. Councillor Adams met some of our past and current Eco Team and worked with them to fill the bug hotel. Well done all!
