West Bridgford Junior School

The school will be closed for the Easter holidays from the 2nd to the 18th April. We hope all parents, carers and pupils enjoy a well earned break and look forward to welcoming you back on the Monday 19th April!

Mrs Sellars - Teaching Assistant

Hi, I’m Mrs Sellars and I’ve been at WBJS for 2 years.  I currently work in Year 4 (mainly Class 4).

I can honestly say that I love our school; it’s a great place to work.  All of the staff are very supportive of each other and make a great team.  The children are very positive and show great enthusiasm for learning.

Favourite Book
I love to read and always have a pile of books by the side of my bed, to ensure that I always have a ‘new book’ to read!  It’s difficult to pick one in particular but in recent years one of my favourites has to be The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks,  it’s a must read love story in my opinion!
As a child I had two favourite books: Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery, and The Naughtiest Girl in The School by Enid Blyton.  Both of these books would transport me into a different world.

Going to the gym, going to the gym and going to the gym! I love high energy classes and all things martial arts based.
Cricket: I feel lucky to live on the doorstep of Trent Bridge cricket ground and can’t wait for the T20 season to start.
Tennis: to watch not play - I’m not very good. I’ll watch any tennis match day or night.  One of the best days of my life was being on Centre Court at Wimbledon where I got to watch my idol, Rafael Nadal!
Concerts: I just love live music.
Spending quality time with my girls and my husband.
Walks with my crazy Cockapoo.
Ooh and holidays... sun, sea and a good book!

Favourite Number
I don’t have one (why would you?) but I really don’t like odd numbers!
